ST. PAUL, Minn. — A very big-budget film for it's day (or any other) is the black and White WWII epic "The Longest Day" based on Cornelius Ryan's best selling book. It boasted a huge cast of superstars and was filmed on location in France.

One of the very young stars, also a teen idol at the time, Paul Anka, wrote the theme song we hear on this Flicks in Five.
