Flicks in Five: 'The Longest Day'

ST. PAUL, Minn. — A very big-budget film for its day (or any other), is the black-and-white World War II epic, The Longest Day, based on Cornelius Ryan's best-selling book. The film boasted a huge cast of superstars and was shot on location in France.

One of the very young stars of the film, also a teen idol at the time, was Paul Anka. He the theme song we hear on this week's Flicks in Five.
