Live from the Met: Siegfried

ST. PAUL, Minn. — Tune in at 11 a.m. on April 20 for a live broadcast of Wagner's Siegfried from the Metropolitan Opera, and enjoy a slideshow from the production.

Part three of the Ring follows the journey of Siegfried, son of Siegmund and Sieglinde, from naive fearless boy to supreme hero. With the re-forged sword of his father, he conquers magical obstacles to reach his prize, Brunnhilde.

Jay Hunter Morris reprises his acclaimed portrayal of the title hero in the epic's third installment Deborah Voigt is Brunnhilde, Mark Delavan is the Wanderer, and Eric Owens is Alberich, with Principal Conductor Fabio Luisi on the podium.
