ST. PAUL, Minn. — It is going to be another busy day today at the South by Southwest music festival in Austin,Texas.
Over a dozen Minnesota artists will be showcased at two different events that both start this morning. Gary Louris of the Jayhawks performs tonight. And then tomorrow night, Prince will front a 22-piece band in a special show on the final night of the festival.
MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Jim McGuinn, who is the program director at our sister station The Current. He's at South by Southwest taking in as much of the music as he can.
