Purple Caucus aims to foster bipartisan cooperationby Cathy Wurzer, Minnesota Public Radio
ST. PAUL, Minn. — When you mix red and blue, you get purple.
Some Minnesota lawmakers hope that is a potent blend which results in less polarized politics.
Yesterday, DFL Sen. Roger Reinert of Duluth and Republican Sen. Jeremy Miller of Winona launched the bipartisan "Purple Caucus" saying it is time for both parties to come together.
