St. Cloud names new school superintendent

COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. — The St. Cloud School District has named Willie Jett as new superintendent of schools.

The board was unanimous in its decision, the district said.

Currently Jett is an assistant superintendent with St. Paul Public Schools. Before that he worked in the Hopkins Public School District. Jett's also served as a principal and teacher.

Jett replaces Bruce Watkins, who's retiring at the end of the school year.
