The Cube Critics make their Oscar picks for best picture and best director

ST. PAUL, Minn. — Minnesota Public Radio's Euan Kerr and Stephanie Curtis welcome Star Tribune film critic Colin Covert to discuss the Oscar's best-picture and best-director nominations in this week's Cube Critics.
Stephanie and Euan will be live blogging the entire Academy Awards extravaganza on MPRNews.org. Red carpet coverage is expected to begin around 6 p.m. CT, and the Oscar ceremony, hosted by Seth MacFarlane, will start at 7:30 p.m. on ABC-TV.
