Peter Asher began a singing career in 1964, as one half of the group, Peter & Gordon, an act that scored nine top 20 records, including A World Without Love.

But Asher's greatest musical success came in a different form - record producing and management. Asher worked as a manager and producer for the Beatles, James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, Elvis Costello, gathering a huge number of stories and experiences with some of the most famous artists of our times.

He's currently touring with his multimedia show, A Musical Memoir of the 60s and Beyond. He performs January 29th and 30th at the Dakota in Minneapolis.

Here's a clip of Peter and Gordon performing the Paul McCartney-penned Woman on the 60s NBC pop music show Hullabaloo.
