ST. PAUL, Minn. — President Barack Obama appointed Denis McDonough, a native Minnesotan, as his chief of staff Friday.

MPR's Tom Crann spoke with his brother Fr. Kevin McDonough, a pastor at St. Peter Claver, Sagrado Corazon de Jesus, and Incarnation Churches in St. Paul.
