Minnesota Legislature preview for week of January 21, 2013

ST. PAUL, Minn. — DFL Gov. Mark Dayton will release a two year-budget proposal today that must solve a projected $1.1 billion deficit in the next biennium.
In addition to that spending blueprint, Dayton will present his plan for overhauling the state tax code. All of those tax and spending recommendations will be the focus of intense debate at the State Capitol over the coming months.
