Will Minn. Legislature tackle energy policy this session?

House Speaker Paul Thissen said last week that he expected a "robust debate" on energy policy in the state Legislature this session. We'll start the conversation about what we can expect from lawmakers in terms of solar and renewable energy, climate change and distributed generation.

House Energy Policy Committee Chairwoman Melissa Hortman, DFL-Brooklyn Park, will join The Daily Circuit Tuesday to discuss the upcoming legislative session and efforts to address the state's energy policy. Senate Environment and Energy Committee member Sen. Julie Rosen, R-Fairmont, will also join the discussion.
