The U.S. Supreme Court's decision on the healthcare reform law may have dominated health news in 2012, but there were many other big medical stories: DNA research, mechanical limbs controlled by the mind, drugs that may finally help the obese lose weight and the promise--one day--of growing tissue inside the body to replace malfunctioning organs.
Mayo Clinic President and CEO John Noseworthy will join The Daily Circuit Monday, Dec. 31 to reflect on some of the medical advances that really captured his attention and imagination. Brent Asplin, president and chief clinical officer of Fairview Medical Group, will also join the discussion.
