Minnesota's record year for whooping cough

Minnesota had a record year for whooping cough cases in 2012, with more than 4,300 cases reported. That's more than any year since World War 2.

The sharp increase is being blamed on a pertussis vaccine that doctors started to administer in the 1990s.
