Mpls. police arrest assault suspect

ST. PAUL, Minn. — Minneapolis police have arrested a man suspected of sexually assaulting a 33-year-old woman Saturday near Powderhorn Park.

Police apprehended the man Thursday morning at a north Minneapolis residence without incident. Authorities say the arrest stemmed from a tip they received after releasing a photo of the suspect Wednesday.

MPR News is not naming the suspect because he has not been charged.
