New House Speaker Paul Thissen: State budget a top priority in next session

ST. PAUL, Minn. — The Minnesota House of Representatives will have new leadership when it convenes in January.
The DFL took control of the House during Tuesday's election and last night the party picked the people who will help set the legislative agenda.
The new Speaker of the House is Paul Thissen. He represents a district that includes South Minneapolis and Richfield. Speaker-elect Thissen chats with MPR's Cathy Wurzer.
