Keeping an eye on the legislative races in Minnesota
ST. PAUL, Minn. — A lot of attention is being paid to the presidential race and on several of Minnesota's congressional races. But as the saying goes, "all politics is local."
There are some very interesting legislative races to watch. All 201 legislative seats are up for grabs. Democrats are hoping to recapture the House of Representatives. They need to pick up 11 seats to do that.
MPR's Cathy Wurzer wanted to get a feel for what's happening overall with legislative election strategy. She spoke with GOP state Rep. Jennifer Loon and House Minority Leader Paul Thissen about their election efforts.
