Richfield officer kills man wielding knife

ST. PAUL, Minn. — A Richfield police officer shot a man at a home on the 6600 block of Park Avenue South Friday morning while responding to a 911 call about a man with a knife.
The man who was shot has died, according to the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office. Officials have not released any other information about what occurred inside the home or where the man died.
The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
