MSP commissioners hold public meetings on $1.5 billion expansion plan
Commissioners who oversee the operation of Minneapolis-St. Paul International airport are debating whether to approve a $1.5 billion expansion that includes remodeling concourses and building an international wing. The airport would also fund sound-proofing for more than 1,100 additional homes around the airport.
Public meetings on the proposed plan started last night and will be held in the coming weeks in communities that might experience more noise as a result. There's a meeting Tuesday night and another Oct. 1 in Minneapolis.
Denny Probst, executive vice president of the Metropolitan Airport Commission, will join The Daily Circuit Tuesday to discuss the proposal.
