Carlson: Twin Cities airfare expected to rise 5 to 8 percent

Carlson Wagonlit Travel released a report Monday that says fares out of Minneapolis-St. Paul are likely to rise between 5 and 8 percent next year. Demand is rising as capacity remains low.

Why does MSP suffer high fares especially compared to the other Delta hubs in Detroit and Atlanta? Are fares rising in general?
