Kerri loves a good neuroscience book. This week her book Pick of the Week is "The Emotional Life of Your Brain," co-authored by leading psychologist, psychiatrist and brain researcher Dr. Richard Davidson. He and award-winning science writer Sharon Begley explain how your brain chemistry controls your emotions and, ultimately, your personality.

Don't like how your brain works? Dr. Davidson also explains how to change your emotions. The publisher says the book can give readers a "useful way to look at ourselves, develop a sense of well-being, and live more meaningful lives."
