MINNEAPOLIS — Not all of the damage from last year's tornado was dealt by wind and rain. A number of businesses that never had to put up a single tarp also took a hit to their bottom lines.

MPR's Tom Crann talks with Kris Brogan, who has owned Papas Restaurant and Deli with her husband for seven years at the corner of 42nd and Thomas in north Minneapolis.

The worst of the storm damage was about 10 blocks southeast of their restaurant. Even so, Brogan said she and her husband have seen a 45 percent drop in revenues over the last year.
