Flicks in Five: Jerome Moross

St. Paul, Minn. — It is a sad fact that the musical world, especially the film music world, didn't have Jerome Moross for a longer time. But what he left us was indeed impressive. His best known film score is from The Big Country, a rather oddball Western about an out of place retired sea captain played by Gregory Peck, who arrives in the "wild West" and inadvertently takes on the established system he finds.
