St. Paul, Minn. —
What does it take to make a recording? Why make one at all? And once you've decided to go through with it, what do you put on it that shows you at your very best?
These are just a few of the questions I'll put to University of Minnesota, Morris guitar teacher James Flegel when he comes on the radio today.
James plays all over the place and gives a recital tomorrow afternoon with flutist Linda Chatterton at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion.
But this disc is just James and his guitar, all alone - and all Latin music. Beautiful stuff and you can check it out for yourself with his generous offer of two free downloads for this week only.
