If you watch television, you're probably familiar with those lengthy, disclaimer-filled ads for prescription drugs. They're hard to miss. Pharmaceutical companies spent nearly 2.5 billion dollars on television advertising in 2011--and it works. More Americans are walking into their doctors offices with requests for specific drugs. And that concerns Dr. Craig Bowron.
