St. Paul, Minn. —
On April 13, VocalEssence performs the US premiere of a work by one of Britain's most talented young composers, Tarik O'Regan.
It's called "The Night's Untruth", and it combines new music by O'Regan with old poems by Keats, Shakespeare, Samuel Daniel, and Hart Crane.
Tarik O'Regan says all the poems center around one of the oldest themes of all — sleep.
O'Regan delved into the work with John Birge of Classical Minnesota Public Radio.
