FBI investigates death of woman

St. Paul, Minn. — The FBI are investigating the death of a woman injured at Red Lake Reservation last week.

Melvina Jackson, 53, of Redby, was hurt on April 5, according to a report from the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office. Jackson died of complications from burns the following afternoon at Hennepin County Medical Center.

FBI spokesperson Kyle Loven said the agency cannot comment on the active investigation.
