MPR's Liz Baier checks in from southeastern Minnesota

St. Paul, Minn. — Once a week, Morning Edition checks in with one of our reporters who is based outside the Twin Cities.

This morning, Cathy Wurzer talks with Elizabeth Baier, who covers southeastern Minnesota from our Rochester bureau.

Baier has been looking at recent health rankings that placed Olmsted County higher than last year's rankings in one category, but lower in another. Baier also checks on reports of Chronic Wasting Disease in a Wisconsin deer, and shares news of a satellite branch of the Minnesota Children's Museum in Rochester.
