If you've ever seen the documentary "Wordplay" you'll know the world of crossword puzzles can be a fierce competition. The Friends of the St. Paul Library will hold its first-ever Minnesota Crossword Tournament tonight in St. Paul.

It's being held at the James J-Hill Library in downtown St. Paul. The tournament is almost filled up, though organizers say they might have a few more slots for people who want to compete.

Four people who plan to compete spoke with The Daily Circuit. They range from hobby crossword puzzlers to a professional crossword puzzle creator.
