Clintonville still not sure why 'booming' sounds are happening

Residents of Clintonville, Wis., about 40 miles west of Green Bay, have been losing sleep, and it's making national news. They've been hearing loud, underground rumblings in the area.

The mysterious sounds began Sunday and have been described by some people as underground fireworks, a door slamming or booming thunder. So far, city officials have had no luck recording the rumbles.

Wednesday night, Clintonville held a public hearing and city administrator Lisa Kuss said the city will install vibration machines to monitor the strange rumblings.

Cathy Wurzer talks with Kuss about efforts to locate the source of the sounds.
