This week we looked at the lack of flood worries in Fargo, watched Jack Jablonski's face light up as Benilde-St. Margaret's won the state hockey tourney, saw Minnesotans figuring out how to welcome outsiders, and bike mechanics keep up with unseasonably early customers. Check out those images and more in our photos of the week.

Entertaining customers

1

Fargo, ND, USA — Businessman John Stern entertains customers by showing off a pair of giant Levis at Straus Clothing in Fargo, N.D., earlier this month. Also pictured is Joe Kourouma, 11, of Fridley, Minn. Stern, who co-owns Straus with his brother and owns a home on the Red River, is looking forward to visiting his grandchildren in Colorado this spring without worrying about his basement flooding. Deck overlooking river

2

Moorhead, MN, USA — Adirondack chairs sit on a deck that overlooks the O'Connor family's backyard and Red River in the distance. The O'Connors moved into their Moorhead house in June 2008 and have dealt with major spring flooding for three consecutive years. The family -- like most Fargo-Moorhead residents -- are enjoying a relaxed spring given the unlikelihood of a major flood fight this year.
