St. Paul, Minn. — In 1977, a film collaboration between a director and composer began what would become one of the most successful pairings in all of film history.

Geroge Lucas met his musical equal in John Williams, who provided music for sci-fi's equivalent of The Ring Cycle, Star Wars. Six films and billions of dollars later, Williams' music stands as some of the best movie music of all time.
