Colonoscopies save lives, new research shows

New research shows that colonoscopies cut the death rate from colorectal cancer in half. Before this study, doctors believed that removing precancerous polyps found through screening saved lives, but strong research wasn't there.

Does this study settle the matter once and for all? Some doctors say yes.
