St. Paul, Minn. — A unique score for a unique film that came out of nowhere at Cannes. Now it's won the Oscar for best picture and best score; which is merely the frosting on the cake. The Artist has also won Golden Globes and received numerous nominations for "best everything" (almost) from BAFTA, the Brit's Oscars to the SAG and Directors' Guild awards.

Ludovic Bource created a score that's both original and an homage to the great film composers of the early 20th century.
