Susan G. Komen severs ties with Planned Parenthood

Susan G. Komen for the Cure upset many women when the AP reported it severed ties with Planned Parenthood. Women's health advocates say that Komen ran away from helping women by bowing to political pressure from pro-life groups.

Komen officials says new policies prohibit grant making to organizations under investigation; a conservative lawmaker launched an inquiry back in September to determine if it uses public money for abortions.
