Mall of America spokesman describes melee


LISTEN

St. Paul, Minn. — The Mall of America is open today, with tighter security, after groups of teenagers disrupted shopping yesterday afternoon.

Cell phone video of fights that broke out are on YouTube along with shots of people running through the mall. The footage shows shoppers trying to get out of the way. Nine people were arrested on disorderly conduct charges.

Cathy Wurzer talks with Dan Jasper, the vice president of public relations with the Mall of America.
