Best Buy drops $10 screen recycling fee

St. Paul, Minn. — Best Buy says it is taking steps to expand its in-store recycling program.

The Richfield-based electronics giant said Thursday it is eliminating the $10 fee it had been charging for items with screens.

Best Buy says consumers can now drop off any item, including most televisions and computer monitors free of charge.
