A Musical Meeting in the Palace of Reason!

St. Paul, Minn. — The Bach Society of Minnesota is preparing for a performance of one of Bach's final masterpieces, The Musical Offering.
The "old" ways of thinking about music were challenged when Bach visited Frederick the Great in Potsdam in 1747. By all accounts it was a battle of wits as well as musical esthetics.
