Vivaldi's 'Winter' featuring Chad Hoopes

St. Paul, Minn. — Listen to Classical MPR's Artist-in-Residence Chad Hoopes perform Vivaldi's Concerto No. 4 in F minor, Op. 8, RV 297, "L'inverno," better known as "Winter."

This recording, from 2009, features Hoopes (then 15 years of age) playing with the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Americas, conducted by Alondra de la Parra.

Each of the three movements from Vivaldi's violin concerto for Winter are represented, (Allegro non molto, Largo, Allegro). This audio will be available for one week.
