Morning Edition: Twin Cities hip-hop artist Brother Ali speaks with MPR

St. Paul, Minn. — Twin Cities hip-hop artist Brother Ali is one of several musicians who will perform at Minnesotans Standing Together at the State Capitol Sunday to commemorate the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

Brother Ali will perform a song from an upcoming album called "Mourning in America and Dreaming In Color." Ali spoke with MPR's Cathy Wurzer about the song and about how 9/11 affected him.
