12 plead guilty to drug trafficking

St. Paul, Minn. — Twelve people have pleaded guilty to drug trafficking and selling methamphetamine in Minnesota.

One of the defendants admitted delivering 12.8 grams of methamphetamine to customers, U. S. Attorney's Office spokeswoman Jeanne Cooney said Tuesday.

The ongoing investigation includes local, state and federal law enforcement, as well as that in California, Cooney said.

So far the investigation has netted about two pounds of methamphetamine, $350,000 cash, handguns and a vehicle," Cooney said.

The defendants have addresses in Moose Lake and Shakopee in Minnesota as well as out state residences.
