St. Paul, Minn. — State lawmakers are still not ready to vote on a budget agreement that would end the 18-day-old government shutdown.
Gov. Mark Dayton had wanted to call a special session Monday after reaching the framework of a deal late last week with Republican legislative leaders. But after three full-days of additional negotiations, some details remain unresolved in the individual budget bills.
