Voters: Why can't our leaders make a deal?

St. Paul, Minn. — The shutdown became inevitable after DFL Gov. Mark Dayton and the Republican-controlled Legislature failed to reach a budget deal last night. We asked Minnesotans around the Twin Cities why they think lawmakers were unable to bridge their differences.
