Expert: What you need to know about aneurysmsby Cathy Wurzer, Minnesota Public Radio
St. Paul, Minn. — Paul Youngdahl died Monday from a ruptured brain aneurysm. He was 73. Nearly 30,000 Americans experience ruptured aneurysms each year, but it's estimated another 6 million have undiagnosed aneurysms in their brains. That's 1 in 50 Americans.
MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Dr. Eric Nussbaum about what you should know about aneurysms. Nussbaum is the co-founder of the National Brain Aneurysm Center here in St. Paul.
