St. Paul, Minn. — More than a dozen ski areas in Minnesota have permits that allow them to draw water from a river, pond or other source in order to make snow.
Below is a map showing ski areas. A red marker indicates recent violations of a permit; a green marker indicates no violations in the last 10 years.
