Lisa See sets latest novel in Mao's "Great Leap Forward"
Author Lisa See visits Minneapolis to talk about her new novel set in 1950's Communist China, "Dreams of Joy." It debuted at the top of the June 19 New York Times' best-seller list. Her book, "Snowflower and the Secret Fan" is a Hollywood movie coming out this summer. Her other best-sellers set in China include "Shanghai Girls" and "Peony in Love," all popular with book groups.
