Minnesota Twins pitcher Francisco Liriano throws 5th no-hitter in team history

In the 50+ seasons that the Minnesota Twins have been playing baseball, there have only been five games in which they held the opposition hitless. The fifth no-hitter in team history happened last night in Chicago.
Starting pitcher Francisco Liriano, who has struggled all season, was the unlikely hero. The 1-0 no-hitter against the White Sox was the first shutout and complete game of Liriano's career.
