Republicans in the Minnesota House and Senate are expected to pass their remaining budget bills this week, and then start negotiating toward a final budget deal with Governor Mark Dayton.
Last week, the Senate passed all but two bills. The House must still act on three, including a controversial Health and Human Services bill. Sponsors of a long-awaited Vikings stadium bill are also expected to roll out their proposal this week.
Reporter Tim Pugmire is keeping an eye on all the moving pieces at the State Capitol. MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with him about what to watch out for this week in Minnesota politics.
