St. Paul, Minn. — Steve Staruch speaks with soprano Judith Howarth about her perfomance in the title role of the upcoming MN Opera production of Donizetti's "Mary Stuart"

The role is a juicy one; playing one of the most tragic and yet one of the most heroic women in all history. Judith Howarth sings the title role in the MN Opera's production of the Donizetti's Mary Stuart. The soprano knows her Mary, Queen of Scots history. In fact, you could say that she's been haunted by the ghost of Mary Stuart for some time.
