Snowplow driver strike avoided in St. Louis County

St. Louis County drivers may be breathing a sigh of relief this morning.
County snowplow drivers represented by Teamsters Local 320 have accepted a new contract more than a year after the previous contract expired. The union had set a strike date of today.
Cathy Wurzer spoke with Bob Kelleher from our Duluth bureau about that and other news in northeastern Minnesota.
