St. Paul, Minn. — Comcast customers in and around the Twin Cities, Chicago and Detroit should have had their internet access restored today.
An outage that lasted about four hours last night kept people from getting online.
Comcast says the company does not know how many internet customers were affected by a suspected Domain Name Service server outage.
During the internet service interruption, people weren't able to use their computers to troubleshoot their IT problems with Comcast, but some people with mobile devices were able to work around the problem quickly.
To talk about what happened we're joined by our own Jon Gordon, editor of social media and mobile news for Minnesota Public Radio.
