2 injured, 10 displaced after Wayzata fire

Two adults were injured and 10 people displaced after a fire at a complex of townhouses in Wayzata.

Police Lt. Mike Murphy says two people are recovering from smoke inhalation but are expected to be alright. He says the fire was reported at 12:40 a.m. Saturday in the strip of four townhouses.

One of the town houses was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived and was destroyed, and the other homes have smoke and water damage.

He says one of the injured lived in the home where the fire started and one lived adjacent to it.

He says fire officials are investigating, but the fire does not appear suspicious.

More than 80 firefighters responded to the three-alarm fire.
